The Investigation of Literature Refered to the treatment of Sthenia-syndrome of apoplexy

Abstract
|
|
|
The following results was obtained to study old books of oriental medicine about Sthenia-syndrome of apoplexy (ñéù¦øÍñû).
1. Sthenia-syndrome of apoplexy (ñéù¦øÍñû) and Collapse syndrome of apoplexy (ñéù¦øÍñû) was classifed by the "An Essential Medical Manual" at the first.
Sthenia-syndrome of apoplexy(ñéù¦øÍñû) was classifed into yang-sthenia-synd rome(åÕøÍ) and yin-sthenia-syndrome(ëäøÍ) by recent literature.
2. The cause of Sthenia-syndrome of apoplexy(ñéù¦øÍñû) was "yang of wind stirring(ñéù¦øÍñû)" and "evil heat accelerating(Þ÷æðùñàü)" due to "yin-deficiency of liver and kidney.
The cause of yang-sthema-syndrome(åÕøÍ) was "phlegm-fire shaking upside (ÓÃûýß¾êµ)" and "liver-wind stirring inside(ÊÜù¦Ò®ÔÑ), The cause of yin-sthenia-syndrome(ëäøÍ) was "mental disorder due to the stagnation of phlegm(ÓÃöúÒ®øÍ)" and "stagnation of phlegm-wetness(ÓÃã¥ðæßá).
3. The syndrome of yang-sthenia-syndrome(åÕøÍ) was severe headache, frequent vomiting, syncope, unconsciousness, trismus(ä³Î¼ÑÌÐá), hands grasping(Ï¢ö«), hemiparesis, seizure, facial color flushed, fever, snoring(Þ¬ÇÑѨðØ), halitosis(Ï¢ö«), fidgetiness(ÛáðâÝÕÒ»), dysuria, constipation, bright red tongue (àßòõûõË´), yellowish and dry fur(àß÷ÄüÜÀÌì»Ëë), pulse of smooth rapid or large(ØæÍèì»â¦ûäûóÓÞ) etc.
4. The syndrome of yin-sthenia-syndrome(ëäøÍ) was severe headache, dizziness, vomiting, facial color paled, syncope, unconsciousness, trismus(ä³Î¼ÑÌÐá), hands grasping(Õ×â©äÄͳ), hemiparesis, seizure, fidgetiness(ð¡èÂÝÕÛá), cold limbs(ÞÌò¶ÝÕè®), abundant expectoration(ÓÃæÎèµàü), snoring(Þ¬ÇÑ), dysuria, constipation, black pale tongue(àßòõäÞÓ¿), white pur(àß÷ÄÛÜ´Ï), pulse of sinking and smooth(ØæßÚä¡Íè) etc.
5. The treatment of Sthenia-syndrome of apoplexy (ñéù¦øÈñû) was "clear away liver-fire and stop the winde(ôèÊÜãØù¦), open the sensory organs(ËÒЫ), open the blocking(ÌöøÍ) by giving the first consideration to eliminate the evil factor(ËäÞ÷).
6. The treatment of yang-sthenia-syndrome(åÕøÍ) was open the sensory organs of acrid flavour and warm nature(ãôè®ËÒЫ), clear away liver-fire and stop the wind(ôèÊÜãØù¦), clear away heat and disperse phlegm (ôèæðûùÓÃ).
The principal prescription of yang-sthenia-syndrome(åÕøÍ) was YOUNGYANGGAKTANGGAGAM(Ö¾åÏÊÇ÷·Ê¥Êï).
7. The treatment of yin-sthenia-syndrome(ëäøÍ) was open the sensory organs of acrid flavour and cool nature(ãôÕØËÒЫ), stop the wind by eliminatmg(ãôÓÃãØù¦).
The principal prescription of yin-sthenia-syndrome(ëäøÍ) was CHUCKDAMTANG(??ÓÃ÷·)
8. The principal drug of pill and powder was GIBODAN(ò¸ÜÄÓ¡), WUHWANGCHUNGSIMHWAN(éÚüÜôèãýü¯) and cupuncture and moxibusdon therapy was points of open the sensory organs by wake up the patient from inconsciousness(á¥ÒàËÒЫ).
The drug of injections was drugs of open the sensory organs by wake up the patient from inconsciousness(á¥ÒàËÒЫ) by refining and intravenous or intramuscular injection.
9. The first emergency measure was open the blocking(ÌöøÍ) and measure was Tracheotomy, measure of opening the blocking by acupuncture(öÝËÒøÍÛ°Ûö) , measure of opening the sensory organs by drugs(å·Úª÷×Ы۰Ûö), measure of nipping points(°ãúëÛö), penetrating the nose(ÈßÞ¬Ûö) etc.
10. The management of Sthenia-syndrome of apoplexy(ñéù¦øÍñû) was reducing movement, management of envimment, observation of the condition of a disease, mouth care, airway care, prevention of bed sore and infection, prevention of deformation of joints, management of emotion, management of urine and stool.
